Timeless items to always wear

In recent years, there has been an increasing need for designers to divide the collections into contemporary and timeless, also in order not to completely demean the creations during the inevitable sales periods. And how to blame this increasingly rampant need? After all, a Yohji Yamamoto jacket bought in the 80s is still considered modern and current today, and how could it not be? For this reason the avant-garde is defined as such and for this reason their lines have become increasingly separated between "seasonal" and "iconic" (Carryover). Of course, due to style, fabrics, colors and specific types of products, these last articles can be defined as "continuous" and could not be otherwise, also considering the practicality that these garments, in many cases, represent. Dedicated to an audience that looks more to these characteristics than, rather, to the seasonality that a collection item can have, in these other products the fabrics are more experimental, the models are more extreme, they have an evident trace of creativity more attributable to a specific season, to a specific period, the "continuous" ones do not have these characteristics, they do not have time, but they are intimately connected to their designer who ineluctably gave them shape and style. They are almost always models that have marked the previous collections and have become icons of shapes, icons of images for which one can easily tell which stylist they belong to. In accessories, this commercial proposal began many years earlier, defined mostly by high-end brands that had invested in their most important models, presenting them season after season that were always the same in terms of shapes and characteristics.
